Providing a solid and rigid platform for the LP12, the multi-layer box construction of 1.5mm thick aluminium provides strength and rigidity and when teamed up with the LP12’s five-layer laminated armboard (*), creates a firm and acoustically damp platform for your tonearm.
The Standard Sub-chassis is fitted to the Majik LP12 turntable as standard. It is also available separately as an upgrade to older LP12 turntables, offering increased performance for any earlier LP12 that features an earlier sub-chassis design.
(*) Armboards are available for use with this sub-chassis pre-drilled to fit Linn, Rega, SME & Naim Aro tonearms. Please ensure that you advise which tonearm & armboard you intend to fit when specifying the sub-chassis as this determines the sub-chassis ordered.
