Taking its lead from the excellent NaimUniti, this product encompasses a Network Audio Player, FM/DAB & iRadio, DAC, USB/iPod connectivity & a 30Wpc Stereo Amplifier - all in a HiCap sized box.
The UnitiQute retails for £1350. And there is a superb control app available for use with the iTouch/iPhone & iPad - awesome.

We are pleased to say that we now have the Naim UnitiServe on demo.
A HiCap sized enclosure offering the ability to rip, store and manage your music collection in bit perfect, CD quality, WAV format, the UnitiServe complements the NaimUniti range, whilst also offering an alternative source option to those with a DAC, as the UnitiServe has a S/PDIF & Optical digital outputs. With no front panel controls, operation of the UnitiServe is either via an optional handset & monitor, touchscreen interface, PC web browser, Naim DTC or via the Naim developed iTouch/iPhone App.

It has taken nearly two years to come to fruition and after much careful consideration about what was involved, we are pleased to announce that we are now the authorised Linn dealer for Norfolk.
Dipping our toe in the water initially with the Majik level products, and with Akurate level products arriving later this month, we are on a steep learning curve, but already enjoying what we hear. We will be keeping the 12” vinyl fans happy with the iconic Sondek LP12 turntable forming part of our portfolio too.
“But there are no CD players in the Linn product range”, we hear you say. Well, that was another reason for making the decision to open an account. We have a firm belief that digital streaming of audio is here to stay and Linn are clearly of the same opinion. Whilst we accept that CD players will continue to have their place in many people’s hearts (including our own), when Linn announced that they were to cease manufacturing CD players at the end of last year, that sealed the decision for us. Network audio is here to stay – we should open a Linn account.

Well, in these exciting ever changing digital times, we couldn't rest our laurels on a single high-end DAC alone, so we have recently added the awesome Bryston BDA-1 to our demo stock.
With a total of eight selectable inputs, including coax, BNC, optical, USB & AES/EBU connectivity, the BDA-1 has the ability to accept a wide range of sources. Bit/sample rates are available up to 24/96 with selectable upsampling to 192k. Matched with the Bryston BCD-1, the BDA-1 adds a whole new dimension to the performance of this CD player. Used with hi-res audio files stored on a PC or Mac, the performance only gets better.

Probably the longest delay in announcing a new product you will ever read, but we have been demonstrating the fabulous PMC Fact-8 loudspeakers since they were launched last year.
To say they are the best loudspeakers we have heard is a bold statement, but so far, everyone who has heard them has made nothing but positive remarks and some customers have even ordered a pair too.
A superb soundstage, great looks and a fabulous finish all work together to provide the loudspeakers of the moment (well, for us & PMC anyway!!).

Thanks to everyone who attended our Rega Music Event & Turntable Clinic last Thursday.
Star of the show was undoubtedly a 1973 vintage Planet turntable brought in for a service and all it needed was a new belt!! The Isis/Osiris Reference system was sounding pretty damn good in the main demo room too.
The prize draw for a Rega P3-24 turntable was won by Mr Siree.
Thanks to Paul & Simon from Rega for their time and efforts over the course of the day and we're already looking forward to the next time.

The Isis CD Player and Osiris Amplifier are the latest Reference Series products to appear from Rega Research.
Each of them is hewn from solid aluminium, supplied in a wooden crate complete with a high spec. screened power cable, a metal version of the Rega system remote control, a pair of white gloves and is wrapped in an Egyptian cotton “pillow case”. Their combined weight is a hefty 44kg … and that excludes the packaging.
The Isis CD player crate also includes a "Couple" interconnect. The CD player has both RCA and XLR balanced analogue outputs, SPDIF and optical digital outputs and a USB input port for PC based music replay.
The Osiris amplifier is a dual mono design rated at 160W into 8ohms, with 6 line level inputs plus a seventh “Direct” input (for connecting an AV processor). Both RCA single ended and XLR balanced inputs are available.
The combined package has the ability to play music like no other two box "integrated" combination we have heard before. We have both the Isis and Osiris available for demonstration. Hearing is believing.

We have now finally taken delivery of our demonstration Naim DAC.
This exciting new product offers an alternative upgrade route for the CD5XS, CDX2 and the HDX, whilst offering the ability to connect numerous other digital sources including iPods and computers. The DAC can also be upgraded itself by adding an XPS-2 or 555PS power supply.

Thank you to everyone who visited our Naim Summer Sounds event last Friday.
The Ovator S600 loudspeakers certainly proved to be the main talking point, with the new DAC offering a taste of the future. The NaimUniti and the new version of the CDX2 were also on demo and gained plenty of interest too.

We are pleased to say that our HDX Hard Disk Player has arrived.
Within minutes of its landing, it was installed, switched on and we started loading it with music. And very good it sounded too.
With that characteristic Naim sound, networking capabilities, the ability to play high quality music files, upgrade options (either XPS-2 or 555PS) and a touchscreen user interface to die for, the HDX is a superb piece of kit.
